Fun Thursdays are back in Market Walk for the summer school holidays.

From 27July to 31 August, on Thursdays, there'll be free fun entertainment for children in Chorley's town centre shopping centre, Market Walk.

The free programme of entertainment will provide different exciting activities each week such as Louby Lou the Clown, and fun characters by Lancashire Ice Queens, Creepy Crawly display, face painting, children's fairground carousel (free of charge), superhero day and more.

Deputy Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Peter Wilson said: "We're pleased to once again be delivering free entertainment for children in the town centre. We all know that keeping children entertained during the school holidays can be costly, so we hope this helps and everyone has a great time. It also attracts footfall to the town centre to help support local traders and also so visitors can see what Chorley has to offer."
