Remember, Remember the 5th November at Astley Park Bonfire and Fireworks display

Get ready to be dazzled! Astley Park Bonfire and Fireworks returns on Sunday 5 November, bringing you a spectacular display and mouthwatering festive treats.

The free event brings thousands to the park every year, with an organised display like no other.

Join us from 6:30pm when Sambafriq sets the rhythm, then watch the blazing bonfire be lit at 7pm and fantastic fireworks display set to music at 7:30pm. Entry is free but donations to the mayor's chosen charity; St Catherines' Hospice are welcomed.

Fill your bellies with festive treats such as parched peas, German Bratwurst, hotdogs, burgers, Spanish churros and then wash it all down with a delicious mulled hot gin, draught lager, and a range of hot/cold soft drinks.

Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Alistair Bradley, said: "We have another spectacular event for you in Chorley.

"Our annual bonfire and fireworks display is always well-received, and we can't wait to bring it back for another year.

"I encourage everyone to bring all of their family and friends to what we hope to be, the best display yet".

With animals and wildlife in mind, the fireworks used are reduced noise.

The event will take place on Sunday 5 November in Astley Park, Chorley from 6:30pm. The park can be accessed from the main Astley Park gates and the Hallgate entrance.

Please note: 

No use of sparklers or public fireworks will be allowed at the event for health and safety reasons.

Please dress appropriately for the weather including wearing appropriate footwear. Paths will be available around the park and the field can be used as a viewing area however please be mindful this may be slippy.
