Chorley Live proves crowd-puller as thousands visit town centre

Chorley Live proved popular as over 10,000 visitors enjoyed local, live music and entertainment at the weekend.

35 venues hosted 280 performances on 6 and 7 October in Chorley town centre. Local bands, singers and entertainers signed up to the much-loved event which attracts huge amounts for the local economy.

Leader of Chorley Council, Councillor Alistair Bradley said: "Thank you to everyone who attended Chorley Live.

"This event always proves a huge success and brings so much to the local economy.

"I'd also like to thank all of the venues and acts who took part in this great weekend".

The event is organised by Chorley Council, in partnership with the Creative Network.

Chorley Council are now looking for feedback on the annual event with a chance for anyone who completes the survey and leaves their name and contact details to win two free wristbands to Chorley Live 2024.
